Fuel costs down, but not necessarily household down

PLN submit fully to the government policy in
the Basic Electricity Tariff (TDL) overall, including a matter
of not going down TDL customer households in respect
of fuel price of oil (BBM). To date, the PLN can not
determine whether specific TDL for household or not
will be revealed over the oil price decline.

"TDL industry group is down to eight percent,"
said Director (Dirut) PLN, Fahmi Mochtar after inaugurate PLTG Silincah in Jambi, on Thursday.

He said that so far PLN still analyzing the impact
of diturunkannya TDL for households considering PLN's
largest customer households reached 95 percent.
This will increase the cost of a larger operation in the PLN. Some of the problems arising from the decrease in TDL household when
the household is revealed TDL the government should subsidize larger PT PLN each year.

Government must choose would increase subsidies to
PLN with TDL lower house, or does not reduce the number of TDL subsidies given value is fixed to the PLN. Currently, PLN also examine if the TDL down must be related to the impact of economic growth nationally.
